Natural Rubber

Our natural rubber is tapped straight from the tree in the Pacific.  It is harvested as latex - a sticky, milky substance that is then refined into rubber ready for everyday use.  It is then "vulcanized", (a process invented by Charles Goodyear - of tyre fame), and leaving aside the scientific explanation for now, the result is stronger rubber.

Natural rubber is prized for its resilience, stretch ratio and environmentally friendly attributes.  In other words, the perfect sole for your looms.
